Dauber Background

Here is Roxie again posting one of the solid Trees images from QKR Stampede, I've posted a couple using the larger size image and find these silhouettes to be a perfect choice when you need a masculine card and your in a pinch for time, such a quick and easy card to create!

I used a ½” sponge dauber to apply the blue and the dauber marks are intentional to add texture. Then using a regular sponge I applied the black to the top and side edges. Next I stamped on the image, tore a piece of paper in half and masked off the sky while lining the paper up to the ground portion of the image and used the direct to paper technique to apply the ground and the panel is ready to assemble. You could easily create this panel in about five minutes.

The envelope is done is the same manner as the card and took me all of about three minutes.

The triangles are cut with the Stampin Up photo corners punch, glued together and timed to a smaller size.

The nailheads were attached with Aleene’s Paper Glaze.
